I've worked with Nick for the past decade providing coverage for a range of international motorsport series. As a producer Nick intuitively understands how to pitch a programme to appeal to new viewers and dedicated fans alike. Nick has a great radar for the key stories, evidenced by Nick being the first person to really bring Daniel Ricciardo, Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen and others to a broader audience. As a commentator it has been a delight to be involved in these shows, as a viewer Nick's work on the NFL for Channel 4 in the 1990s converted me into a lifelong fan of the sport.
I've worked with Nick for several years now and value his abilities as a producer, his strong sense of editorial, and his contacts within the TV industry. When he was setting up Eel Pie Films I jumped at the chance to become involved with the company and now thoroughly enjoy being a part of his new venture.
We have had the pleasure of working with Gemma Scott for the British Racing Drivers’ Club’s Annual Awards ceremony for a number of consecutive years recently. Gemma’s role involved interviewing BRDC Members and generally contributing to the smooth running of the event both on stage and on the floor, so we were delighted to see such a high level of subject knowledge and slick professionalism. During a four hour awards ceremony broken up by a three course meal service, adherence to the script and running order are of paramount importance and Gemma never failed to deliver what was required. Of course, the nature of live interviews also brought about a certain amount of unpredictability, but Gemma adapted to each situation in expert fashion and we would give the highest possible recommendation of her services.
